A Closer Look: Toyota's Entrepreneurial EnTOURage Campaign for African American Consumers

 

The Entrepreneurial EnTOURage was designed to provide Toyota with a meaningful, engaging platform for the African American Consumer Market (AACM) in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

In August 2022, Toyota invited more than 15 local Black businesses and 11 influencers to learn about entrepreneurial ideation, business growth, and opportunities created in local communities.

We built an authentic program through surveys, discussions, and partnerships based on what the entrepreneurs want to learn more about, including struggles, wins, tips, and more.

Toyota Representative highlighted opportunities in the Diversity Business Programs.

Influencers played a crucial role in amplifying the event's impact, sharing insights on how they use their platforms. 

As a token of appreciation, we gifted all attendees with gift cards and Toyota rides to visit one to two businesses and feature those visits on their respective social media platforms.

This two-part activation received resounding positive feedback from owners and influencers alike. Both groups were delighted with the exposure, community support, and opportunity to learn more about what's available in Dallas. 


Notably, four small business owners reported a direct increase in profit due to the influencer coverage.
