McDonald's + Revolt’s Local Love Tour Gives Local Artists A Chance to Shine National
REVOLT TV and McDonald's hit the road in May 2015 to gather local musicians who wanted to showcase their talent on The Local Love Tour!
Local artists from Detroit, Houston, New Orleans, Philadelphia and Dallas were invited to submit their best work in video form for the chance to perform at their respective tour stop in front of thousands of music fans.
We teamed up with Sean “P. Diddy” Combs’ REVOLT TV to document the artists and the audiences that make their cities great. The acts at each show varied in genre from Hip-Hop to Rock and Jazz, and the end result was a celebration of creative folks. The local event was broadcasted nationally throughout REVOLT's television, online and social media channels.
We wanted to show lovin’ to local artists across America. The very best urban talent across America had the chance to hit the stage, as the tour will hit five cities – including Detroit, Houston, New Orleans, Philadelphia and Dallas!
During the concert McDonald’s engaged the audience with a branded photo booth, a food truck and fun giveaways.
Overall, the Local Love Tour was a great example of how corporations can make a positive impact on local communities by working together.
McDonald's and Revolt TV were able to inspire and empower young artists while also creating authentic brand engagement.
The Local Love Tour event went viral, garnering national and regional media coverage including: Essence Magazine, Local Radio Stations, HIghSociety, Vibe, and Source Magazine.
